First Years Learning Center, located in the heart of Carbondale, Illinois, we are a unique licensed in-home preschool dedicated to providing a vibrant and nurturing environment where young children thrive.
My name is Tamara, and after three years of working in some amazing schools, I decided to gather all the things I loved and create what I truly believe is the perfect space for young learners. My inspiration came from a deep desire to protect small children and ensure they receive the individualized attention they deserve.
Research-Based Curriculum
At the heart of our engaging educational program is the research-based Experience Curriculum (formerly Mother Goose Time), highlights not only educational milestones but does a great job in delivering joyful, hands-on learning experiences every day. Teaching with Experience curriculum has been an incredible asset.
